On the flip side, FromSoftware can be a victim of its own stubbornness. When it challenges itself and slots something new into its steady foundation, we get groundbreaking works like Elden Ring. The Dark Souls studio’s greatest strength lies in its ability to commit to a single idea, iterating until it finds the best version of its creation.
